Terms of Service & Teacher Agreement

1. Purpose & Scope
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Belayfy platform (www.belayfy.com), a service connecting language learners with verified real teachers, assisted by pedagogical and Artificial Intelligence tools. By registering and using the platform, you expressly agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Age Requirement (18+)
Registration and use of Belayfy is strictly limited to individuals aged 18 or older who have full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. By opening an account, you warrant under your responsibility that you meet this age requirement.
3. Bookings, Online & In-Person Lessons
Bookings are formalized based on the schedule published by each teacher. Both student and teacher agree to arrive punctually in the online classroom (or at the agreed physical location for in-person lessons). Cancellations or rescheduling must adhere to the cancellation policies displayed on the platform.
4. Teacher Agreement & Responsibilities
If you register as a Teacher on Belayfy, you agree to the following additional obligations:
- Mandatory Pedagogical Review: You are solely responsible for the pedagogical quality of your lessons. You must personally review, correct, and validate all preliminary AI-generated reports before sending them to the student.
- Profile Accuracy: You warrant that your specialties, experience years, in-person location details, and hourly rates published on your profile are true and accurate.
- Payments & Passthrough: Payments and payouts are processed securely via financial providers (such as Stripe). Belayfy never stores credit or debit card details directly on its servers.
5. Governing Law
Belayfy reserves the right to modify these terms to reflect service improvements or regulatory changes. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain and the European Union.
