Belayfy

The Belayfy approach

We believe the best education technology does not replace human relationships: it helps every lesson carry more context, continuity, and purpose.

Our mission

Belayfy helps students and teachers turn isolated lessons into a continuous learning process. We use AI to organize information and propose pedagogical support, not to replace a teacher’s professional judgment.

We want every student to start from their real situation, learn with a qualified person, and arrive at the next lesson with better-connected context.

The principles behind Belayfy

They are product decisions, not just brand statements.

👨‍🏫

Learning is human

The lesson, the student–teacher relationship, and pedagogical judgment are at the centre of Belayfy.

🤝

AI assists; the teacher decides

AI can organize evidence and propose drafts. The teacher reviews, adapts, and retains the final decision about what the student receives.

📚

Progress relies on real evidence

An initial test provides an estimate, not a certification. The baseline is refined through interaction, real lessons, and reviewed reports.

🔁

Continuity matters

Every lesson can inform the next one: what was observed, practised, and needed should not disappear when a session ends.

🔒

Responsible, transparent use

When AI supports lesson follow-up, we aim for its use to be informed, proportionate, and focused on supporting the teacher and student.

An evidence-informed position, not a promise

Research supports the value of feedback in second-language learning, but its effects depend on context, task type, and how it is used.

Recent evidence on AI-assisted feedback in second-language learning is promising: a synthesis of 19 studies and 11,875 students found a small positive overall effect and a larger effect on emotional engagement.

Reviews also identify important limits: uneven outcomes across designs and implementations, overreliance, errors, privacy, and lower reliability for areas such as pragmatics, discourse, and cultural nuance. This is why Belayfy is designed to support teachers, not replace their judgment.
